JAFS License

Since version 0.9.9, JAFS is based on a new collaborative source licensing model. Here is a list of news with this licence :

• Access to the source code
• Some derivatives work are now possible (modify sources) for Research and Development use only and under the same license use only.
• Internal Deployment Use is now possible against either a fee or being a contributor.

This license is more suited for software than the creative commons as it adds more informations about source code and modifications rights. It open doors for commercial production use too.

The Internal Deployment Use license is free for Non-Profit and Open Source Organizations.

Old versions license

Prior to version 0.9.9, JAFS was using a Creative Commons license, which allows you to freely use the software for non commercial use only. You can still freely use those versions if you do not like the new licensing model.
